Bowden's getting pretty good with the camera.

"No, seriously Bowden, last shot. Please give me the camera."

The dirtier and grosser Lucy got, the more insistent she was that someone needed to "hol' me!". She had to settle for having her hand held.

Although the sky is very pretty, I was actually going for the hills on the left when we hit a pothole.

My first stop-sign-on-a-dirt-road-sighting.

"Sarah, how do you feel about leaving?"

"Me too."

I INTERRUPT THIS BLOGFEST TO SAY: THE SOX ARE GOING TO THE SERIES!!!!!!!

(brought to you by my brother Dave)

Seven Brush Fires

We've spent a lot of this birthday watching the news coverage of our local fires.

Happy Birthday Bob!!!

We celebrated Bob's birthday at Casa-taic. His age? Undisclosed.

Ethan was the "biggest present".

Dave and Jim

We told Mom that the cake looked delicious, and she quickly confessed that it was a mix.

That flash is something else! No wonder Bob looks surprised.

Nearly Home

Vermont was great! I could really use a nap and some time to use for picture-downloading (in that order), but it is now time to celebrate Bob's birthday as we keep an eye on the smoke-filled sky (take it easy Bob- I'm talking about the fires, not birthday candles!).

Warming Up For The The Real Fall Colors

p.s.

don't drive and shoot.

Realized that I hadn't had corn on the cob since my pre-braces days when I looked down and the eaten row was oh so straight. Jim was kind enough to paparazzi me for posterity.
