Subterranian Homesick Blues

Very often during my childhood I would walk through my living room, and be met with this charge: "Hey Lis, sit down and listen to this song. I mean really listen." My Dad was hugely into music, any music, and raised us on a very eclectic mix. This song in particular has always been my favorite couch-captor. "Did you hear that? He said the pump don't work 'cause the vandals took the handles."

Loved this clip and your memory.

Bob Dylan has sung through so many of my stages, from high school to the present. I saw him in concert twice and wanted him to sing this song.

Too bad, but, hey, YouTube's almost as good.

how sad that he didn't play this one, but how great to have seen him twice! i would be afraid to see him in concert now that i've been witness to his weird victoria's secret commercial. i wouldn't want to spoil my image of him.

WHAT?!?!? Victoria's Secret? There are so many good things that come from not getting even the basic four channels. TV-free, I hadn't the least idea that Bob paired up with nekkid, strutting ladies...
