Can't you just feel the Cali sun?




The last two days have been warm and gorgeous. Yesterday I did my menu planning and on-hand list in the ol' outdoor office. This is the view from "coyote rock", the highest point on the new trail.

I want some Cali sun right now, it's only 9 degrees outside and that's the warmest it's been all week!

Go ahead and flaunt your wonderful California sun in front of me. Go ahead. I don't care. I don't miss CA at all. I don't miss the mountains. I don't miss the beach. I don't miss In & Out Burger (no double-double with onions, fries and a chocolate shake for me - no sir!). I don't miss Trader Joe's or Panda Express or El Pollo Loco! I don't miss dry summers! I don't miss being able to drive the 1 up to San Luis Obispo! I miss nothing about California. So go ahead and flaunt!!

haha! sorry guys. at least i am greatful for it. i could be one of those people that complain about the smog and the traffic and the cost of living all of the time. i love california, and i'll take the crappy with the fantastic. mmm...in&out...

Right there with you. When I left I knew exactly what I was leaving and that I would miss it every single day. 6 1/2 years later, I miss it even more.

At least it's muy affordable here and has pretty nice weather (other than the 4 months of nightmarish tropical humidity and heat....)
