okay, here's what we're working with:
On the left is Sam Coomes of Quasi (he also replaced Brandt Peterson on bass in Heatmiser). On the right is his ex-wife, Janet Weiss, who is also the drummer in Olympia, WA's Sleater Kinney. In the middle, just chillin' and backing them up, is Elliott Smith Heatmiser's co-frontman who was probably better known for his solo work (and his Oscar nomination for work on the Good Will Hunting soundtrack). And they are playing us a delicious Stones cover.
I have seen Janet live with both of her bands; she is my absolute favorite drummer. She ditches her shoes, pins back her bangs, and just wails. Enjoy!
