My dad was born on March 5, 1943. Today I will quietly celebrate his voice and his lessons and his love which are here though he is not.

Jack - thank you for sharing your home and your family with me throughout so much of my childhood. I did not take the chance to let you know what a significant, important, and wonderful difference it made in my life. I have made sure not to make the same mistake with your wonderful wife.
