Pumpkin Squares. Beautiful? Yes. Delicious? Could be.

I will be a party to it, I will go to great lengths to prepare it, but I cannot and will not accept squash as a dessert.

The pumpkin does not stand alone though, it is embraced by cake and sugary crumbles. Does a squash become dessert when paired with such ingredients?

no. who decided that carrots and zucchini could morph from side dish into dessert? fruit can easily do this as it contains its own sugar. root vegetables and squash? madness.
