We were pummeled by soggy, gross weather yesterday. It was my goal to never get dressed, but I could only make it as far as 3:00. I did a lot of cooking and sewing and tea-making...and other things from the fifties? It was not an exciting day, but it was nice to have a complete day at home- this was the first I've had since I moved. I never went further than the camp kitchen (I needed sugar for banana bread).

Thanks for the smile. That part of not making it past three and the 50's made me laugh.
Kind of sounds like some the hurricane days we've experienced here in Florida. At least in the sense of being shut in. Not so much in the sense of that white stuff all over the place.
yuck. i'll take earthquakes over hurricanes any day!
We started out with rain all morning followed by snow this afternoon. Now it's partly sunny! I'm looking forward to spring in VT.
Cousin Hal!!! Wowzers! I was so envious of your day at home doing 50's things. I know all about 50's things!!!! So let me guess you made banana bread in the afternoon. . .or did you go to the camp kitchen in your jammies?
BJT wants you to know that it is supposed to snow on Friday and he might have time to work on his WalMart list.
i considered the pajama-kitchen run, but that would have been terribly inappropriate for a girl from the 50's
friday sounds good, we've got three camp meals on saturday though, and sunday's pretty full, so i won't be leaving the hill until monday...that buys him an extra day or two.
Good grief. earthquakes over hurricanes!!
Don't you know you can see hurricanes coming and get out of their way ;-)
Not that in all my years I've ever had to get out of one's way mind you, but that is the general idea when people see them coming several days out.
