We pulled it off! Nancy thought that she was coming to a housewarming party for me (I had to call that morning and tell her that we'd invited so many people that dinner would be in the dining hall, but we'd have dessert and coffee up at my place), but it was actually a retirement party celebrating her nearly forty years of dedicated service at Camp Maranatha. There she stood in the doorway with Dick piecing together what was happening, with my housewarming gift in hand!
I took pictures of the food before we started to eat, then was so busy running around that I didn't take another shot. Sarah was better and will post party pictures soon. Many guests got up to speak about how Nancy had impacted them and I got a really clear picture of the way that camp used to be. I gushed enough on the microphone, so here I'll let the name of the party stand alone. We love Nancy!

Wow!! The food looks great. I'm sure a lot of work went into it.
We are probably sending Nathanael and Rachel out to you this summer. They are looking forward to it, but I'll miss Rachel's great help.
I LOVE NANCY!!!!
I love Nancy too. I wish I could have been there. I have to say it again: I love Nancy!
(I love you too Lisa and miss you lots!)
