The coffeepot looked strange, but was easy to figure out.
I can't say the same about the washer.

I tried using the exact same washer in Scotland! I totally messed it up and had to find the maintenance guy to come and help me... were you successful?
(oh, and the one I screwed up had English writing on it too... I'll be doubly impressed if you made this work...)
not having my luggage was an injury. sitting on the bathroom floor with a norwegian dictionary wanting desperately to wash my one outfit was an insult. it eventually worked though.
