I hope that there are people who take all kinds of random footage of Southern California wildfires and then sell it to doomsday movie makers. It would be silly to use special effects to recreate what we see so often.

I'm not sure people would appreciate seeing actual footage of the fires that destroyed their homes and neighborhoods. Somehow, I just don't think they'd see the appeal in that.
true, but i don't know anyone who holds any affection for the 10 freeway, so i think these are fine.
