Introductions
"(1) Always introduce the gentleman to the lady, and mention her name first, like this: 'Miss Carter, may I introduce Mr. Lester to you?'
(2) Introduce an unmarried woman to one who is married, and the bachelor to a married man, but...
(3) When both are married or both single, introduce younger to elder.
Don't make any exceptions to the first rule, no matter how much more important the man is socially (always and only excepting if he should be a Royal Prince)."
